About Us
Twin Glacier Foundation is a Bengaluru-based non-profit organization focused on environmental restoration and grassroots education, with a strong emphasis on measurable, on-ground impact.
Our founding team brings over 8–9 years of hands-on experience in executing lake rejuvenation and urban environmental projects. Prior to establishing the foundation, we successfully delivered seven lake restoration projects across Bengaluru, working in collaboration with trusts, community bodies, and corporate partners. This execution-driven background forms the backbone of our approach today.
What We Do
1. Environmental Restoration (Core Focus)
We design and implement end-to-end restoration of water ecosystems, including:
- Lake rejuvenation and wetland restoration
- River and stormwater drain rehabilitation
- Lake boundary and sidewall strengthening
- Urban afforestation through Miyawaki plantations
Our projects are built on scientific planning, long-term sustainability, and active community participation—ensuring that restored ecosystems remain functional assets, not short-term interventions.
2. Education & Capacity Building
We believe environmental sustainability cannot succeed without education. Our initiatives focus on:
- Strengthening government and underserved schools
- Providing infrastructure, exposure, and learning support
- Promoting climate awareness and practical science education
- Establishing training and skill development centers
Our goal is to bridge the gap between access and opportunity, especially for students who lack exposure to quality education.
3. Community Support & Livelihood Enablement
To create holistic impact, we extend support through:
- Scholarships for high-performing students from low-income backgrounds
- Access to safe drinking water in underserved areas
- Vocational training and career guidance programs
